As a relevant aside, I've personally never encountered any body of knowledge that was essentially incomprehensible. Until now. That is, if we can even fairly call the theory knowledge. The logos of the theory is words in English. But those words have meaning. It's the collective meanings that are not made clear, intentionally obfuscated, or incompetently handled.

It's just so, so easy to dismiss this as an elaborate troll or nonsensical psychobabble. But I'm willing to take the risk (of losing precious brain cells and precious memory space, of wasting my precious time, of embarrassment), and I will treat this seriously.

I did. It's barely comprehensible, and the writer refers to himself in the third person, which suggests that their mental faculties may not be sound. The FAQ was not designed as a guide or introduction. In fact, there is no introduction, and there is no organization. Large parts of the theory are also incomplete. The 5x3 is discussed, but not presented. There is no description of the models are there are missing archetypes. There is no instruction or explication on how to use the models and interpret archetypes.

You gave his thesis more thought than I ever would have. I did try to read the 72archetypes website some days ago and know what I found? Appeal to emotion right in the first paragraph, a telltale sign of psuedo-babble. And I've read enough in my time to know one when I see one.

I mean I wouldn't mind an internally consistent system of knowledge, with its own sense of logic, as a fictional read(since obviously ,his methods have no real world merit) . But the 72archetypes offers none of that. Its just a bunch of word salads sewen together with appeals to emotion with a slimy sales pitch feel to all of it. Look at this as an example

The entire thing deals in metaphors which doesn't make for a rigorous study. Many terms are left undefined and many times words with well known definitions are misused without any context. Even @Tesla 's own analysis doesn't seem to directly derive from anything written on that website. Giving the impression that its all made up on the spot.

But the most grevious offence imo is @Tesla 's insistence on certain archetypes' inherent inability to understand his methods(which as shown above are faulty at best and downright verbose bullshit at worst). This derives from the idea that not all values are equal, even the website author tends to judge a work based on the archetype of its author.

Therefore by his own logic @Tesla has, what he calls, an "evil" value. Since its logically in-consistent with his claim as a disspator of knowledge. He can either typecast the majority of forum users as slave, tauri or freaks incapable of comprehending his systems (when very legitimate concerns over the efficacy of his methods are raised) or he can try to be an educator and try to make sense of the ramblings on that site for everyone else.

But all that said I do like him for a few reasons. Pointless though his whole charade may be, he does seem to put thought into what he says. Making it unlikely that its just a troll. Also all of this has some entertainment value because you never know what he comes up with next.

They are like crappy computer programs running in your mind, instead of using logical deduction and questioning why appeal to emotion was used, or why is it wrong in the first place given that emotions are a valid and useful mental state to showcase information. Emotions as an object are only valid if relevant to the context of study. Like say they have no place in the field of quantum physics or computer science.

Appeals to emotions puts them at the pedestal of the subject , thus diverting the scholar's attention from its merit in practicality (or even logic).

Fictional characters always carry the burden of their author's ideas and hence can never be like real people. Even when they act human its merely a caricature of our various nuances. I don't disagree that those caricatures can themselves be reductionist reflections of human psyche but to think that you can understand people by studying them alone is preposterous. You'd be missing vital information.

Maybe you should stick to typing fictional characters and not real people since that seems to be the limit of your thesis.

Basically, sameness in a macro scale means value is irrelevant, literally. If things are the same, then their value doesn't matter on the interaction:
2 + 2x = 7 + 2
is the same as

for that reason.
