I like having certain characters as my profile pictures because I think they have cool designs or are from a series I really like—that's literally all there is to it.

I wonder about that. Even if that were to be true in your case it is not true for all toilet anime profile picture users.

There's no reason they should be allowed while other types of avatars are excluded other than maybe chad ones. Really makes no sense they're allowed and actual woman avatars are not. They don't use them because they "want to fuck their avatar," it's because they want other posters to admire their avatars and give them extra attention for them.

This alone is indeed enough of a reason to ban these profile pictures. I have yet to see a good reason for why these profile pictures in particular should be allowed while other similar ones are not.

The way I see it, your pfp is supposed to represent you. It is someone you identify with or something that is your inner most self.

This is why I have chosen the frog Apustaja (little Helper) who pets a toxedo cat.

I've always been a Helper to the people I cared about and would always sacrifice a lot and my beloved toxedo cat has died in my arms two years ago.

My pfp is very personal and I always chose such pfps.

Based on this, I wonder why anyone would chose an Anime foid. It is indeed very suspicious to me.

But I also wonder why any adultcel would choose try hard pfps of some niche male Anime characters.
This shit is cringe af, tbh.

There are some here. I always cringe hard at the sight of it and wonder whether they are actual adults or still teencels (under 18).

This thread made me realise that there are far less people in favour of an anime avi ban than I realised.

Less than 30% of the userbase all in all.

The anti-AFA crowd may be a minority but they’re a very vocal one.
