The Frieren fanboyism is insane

Ded srs it's a good anime but the praise and fanboyism for this show is just ridiculous. People calling it the best of all time and how it puts other anime to shame because it's "mature" and "deep". Also how they make retarded comparisons comparing Frieren with Isekai slop, the equivalent of comparing a Ferrari with a Toyota I guess (because of mass production and production times).

If you say anything slightly negative about it online (mainly soyit, my anime list, etc.) people will go ballistic and call you ad hominems because they have no other arguments. Frieren fanboys are kinda like One Piece fanboys, they can't take criticism and the author can do no wrong.

I also hate all the comments "Frieren is trans, lesbian and autistic coded!!! "

After it got added to ZOGflix and I saw it being pushed hard in my fucking sister's recommendations (despite the fact that she literally never watches anime), I knew it was going to be viewed by so many normies who've never seen a non-action/shonen anime in their lives. It looks really nice but it’s an action fantasy show at its heart and frankly doesn’t stand out to me as being particularly great tbh

I'm not an anime conneseur however I found Frieren to be quite sloppy. Sure it worked as background content while I was doing some othER shit but it was was meh in the first season and then in the end it became straight up boring with the whole magic tournament thingy.
