Is the slime anime worth watching?

My brother won’t shut the fuck up about it saying that I’ll like it because “it’s political” and I kinda like nuanced political media but this just… doesn’t look like that kind of show? At all? I tried to watch it years ago but only got a few episodes in and was bored out of my mind but should I try again and give it an actual fair shot? Seems like generic Isekai slop to me but maybe I’m wrong

Rimuru is one of those protagonists who are OP even by isekai protagonist standards, right? Those tend to be boring, unless said OP abilities actually have plot ramifications and significance (like in Overlord or My Instant Death Ability is so Overpowered).

I watched iron blooded orphans and loved it but gundam seems really inconsistent with the quality of its series, do you know any gundam similar in quality and story to iron blooded orphans? I heard 00 was supposed to be good but idk

I wish they didn’t stop after the second season, I enjoyed it but it’s another one of those ones where I’m gonna have to read the manga which I haven’t done yet. Is the manga worth reading if I liked the anime?

I liked it but i wouldnt say that it is good
