Is it a sign of being ugly if for example an ethnic grows up around middle class whites (USA), but has to settle for friends and dating with people lower than him on the SES (social economic status) totem pole (immigrants, anchor babies, poor whites) because none of his peers that went to school with him ever invite him to their social circles or to hang out especially if they only talk to him at school or work (if at all)?
