yeah it sucks I can relate this is what happened to me when I went to an Evangelical Church, which is basically just a social group of a concert and a TED talk

At least I feel wanted at my Pentecostal church and I really love my pastor. He says I'm not really part of the church because I haven't been going there in the past six months and I kind of just stopped attending. I still attend regularly but in and out

But at least I'm wanted there and the people like me there but my pastor is a little bit butthurt because I left the church

But this is why you need to go and check out other churches, brother. You need to check out a bit of traditional churches

I've really fallen in love with the Orthodox faith and the people there and their teachings and how they truly have the fruits of the Spirit and how they just treat me like a brother. It's just so welcoming

Even if the people are very welcoming at a catholic church, I would not have the beliefs associated with them. And I believe any church that does not believe in speaking in tongues and being filled with the holy spirit - are leading people astray with a false doctrine and I want no part in it - in regards to my walk with the Lord.

I went to an Evangelical church in Sydney, and I loved it. There were some spirit filled people there as well, but still, being EV it is another false doctrine of which I do not see the bible aligning with.

I am still faith over works at the current moment but you notice when a church does preach works, like the Catholic Church or the Orthodox Church. It's funny because they are better people not because they're trying to be but they generally are. They reflect the love of Christ, actually treating you as decent human beings.

And don't get me wrong, my church does as well. All the people in my church fellowship do - but it is just the people there my age that differentiate from the pack. I involve myself where ever my dad goes, I follow - so I generally speak to the older people (65+).

And that's because they have Christ's repentance. You see, the Protestants, because we don't have confession, we don't have symbolism around repentance. When you go to a Ted talk on a Sunday, it's all about you and it's all about how God can do work in your life. It should be the complete opposite. We should be surrendering and living our life for Christ but you don't get that in the Protestant church

But still, I don't believe we should be confessing our sins to a priest - and that it should rather be in our own hearts to the Lord.
When we give people in the church a heirachy (i.e priests, bishops, popes, etc), this is going against the bible. We are all spiritually equal, unless we have the Holy Spirit. Priests are no better than us - and we shouldn't give them roles that only Christ should have. For example, priests don't give you the Holy Spirit, only Jesus does. This then leads people into thinking they are right with God, but they are far from it and are going to hell. I've tried to preach this to people on the streets but they are so focused on their own head that they simply cannot fathom a different outcome to what they have been taught. My heart honestly goes out to them because they don't understand the false teachings they are being lead by Satans minions.

And worse still with the catholics, is the idolisation. They worship statues, objects, and even women such as Mary. It really is anti-christ. God should make them boil up the statues of Mary and drink the fluid, just as they did with the Golden calf. I could say more
