What I like about Java is that you can download earlier builds and play those.

You should also backup those MC versions and not only that, backup all your online libraries on an external drive, because I bet in 10-20 years they are gonna revoke our licenses of old games because they are "problematic entertainment". Many AAA games on steam are drm free, removing steam drm is easy with goldberg or you can just crack it + GOG was invented for preservation.

Yeah, it has because of the failures of like law enforcement and the rise of vigilantes. It does get very bad that people just look for an excuse to beat up or humiliate someone on camera for meeting up with a girl online who's legal.
Moreover, polticians use these situations as an excuse, using them as a sort of catalyst to establish more control under the guise of protecting the children mandating our personal information be collected and private conversations scanned.
It isn't concidental that Western Governments are all making these laws around the same time all because of the same reason of protecting the kids but I digress.
It's always been there but to be honest it feels the same how it always has been, maybe it's just more algorithmically pushed by social media outlets because of its controversial nature.

It would be logical if some bad things have happened on Roblox because they seem to happen everywhere. But I think compared to most gaming platforms including ones that appeal a lot to kids, it's amongst the best for moderation, if not the best.
I dunno the moderation team is probably very small compared to it's large userbase and heavily automated because false positives are very frequent.
