most modern games just suck ass and arent unique in any way
Me desperately trying to work out why I don't play many modern games

It's interesting that even if you removed wokeness from this, the games still seem to be less appealing in many other ways, like in the poll how bad games, big downloads and long installs are things people notice a lot.
I actually said "the wrong kinds of games" as opposed to bad games because... idk. Maybe some people actually like the endless cutscenes and stuff in modern games - I don't know!
So it's easy to point at one thing like big downloads or wokeness but... it seems to actually be quite a few things happening at the same time.
