It's okay. You don't have to rush, just take your time, it looks great already.

I've got physical art only
That's cool. I used to draw physically exclusively before moving onto digital because it's so much easier, for me anyway. Used to be the other way around. You're more than free to upload whatever you want.

Thanks. That's a nice sketch. I like the eyes and hair. Very Chad-like. Because who doesn't like to see beauty every now and again? But yeah, appreciate people engaging in this old ass art thread, it's been a while since anyone, including me, uploaded in it.

Thanks man, it means a lot. Inspired by Mori Buntarou from the manga Kokou no Hito in case you were wondering

No problem. I see the resemblance. Very nice. I also take inspiration from manga and other media as well, although I suppose we all do in a way. Take bits and pieces from the content we like and aspire to become or emulate ourselves. Even if we never quite back it, it's more of a practice or hobby for some of us.

Thanks again man. Yeah it's a great hobby. I've only been getting back into it again recently. Cool to see your art too, inspiring stuff

These are all pretty good. Well, except for the fourth one, but that's not really a big deal since it seemed like you clearly have artistic skill as soon with the others and it was more of a fun sketch than anything I suspect, but as soon with the others you can clearly express color quite well unlike someone like me.
But more onto the others, I definitely like the 3rd and the 5th the most, the one with the Red Panda and the Asian woman with the mask, if I'm correct. Those have the strongest technique and visual draw, at least for me personally. Especially with the third regarding color, proportions, line work, and physical technique in general. Although that's more of a bias from me as I generally, more often than not, prefer physical artwork to digital, as I find it more impressive, both on a technical and visual level, and both these demonstrate that. The eyes and the fur especially pop out, and the inclusion of background, if simple, is always appreciated and really works out to complete the piece. It's nice, simple, and clean. Nothing more is quite needed, I would say, as you achieved what you set out to do. Although my personal favorite of the bunch, your fifth, may not stand out as much immediately to the eye, but on closer inspection, its value is clear to see; the reflections from the light and the simple but effective direction of the piece with the woman’s foot arching back, giving a clear direction for the eye to follow from the ground to the top of the counter as you spread out along it, seeing the entire structure. It may not be the most fantastical, creative, or competently constructed artwork ever crafted, that’s for sure, but I definitely appreciate it for what it is. A simple but effective piece that captures a scene from your mind onto the paper for all to see and grasp, and hopefully enjoy.
Regarding the first two, with the former being more "clean" and fleshed out, it definitely could be argued in the other way. But as I said, it's more of a general thing, and there are those digital works that surpass their original physical counterparts. Both have their respective strengths, know, like in the original with her face, all those pen lines really bring out the value and texture, albeit at the slight cost of her looking a little old, but maybe that's just me. The same can be said for the rest, with the clothes and the soda cup. I think it's ultimately really up to the individual to decide which they prefer, but it also depends on what your original intent was with the piece. We are just left with the guesswork, but that can be interesting in its own way.
The last one with the Dragon Ball character, Vegito, if I'm not mistaken, is probably my second least favorite of the bunch. I just don't find it as compelling as the rest personally, but it is still a strong work with the clear lines, color, and values. The proportions are appropriate, and the overall visual nature pops out to the eye, perhaps the second one someone might be drawn to aside from the red raccoon in terms of color and structure. It’s competent but unremarkable, is the conclusion I would have to draw. Similar to what most typical artists would draw, even I would do with my own favorite characters from other creators. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s perfectly fine, but I just find the other works to be more remarkable and visually and conceptually compelling, but that’s just me personally.
Overall, you all clearly demonstrated quality work from the five pieces you’ve shown and the skills and mind behind them. I definitely appreciated seeing them and wouldn’t mind seeing more if you would be willing to showcase them. And I also have to apologize for taking so long to comment in the first place, as I wished to gather my thoughts, as I’m not exactly a professional art critic, nor am I proficient at writing either. I’m simply a guy giving my thoughts to someone who took the time out of his day to create some fine artwork and show it to others, which, once again, I appreciate.
So, well done, and keep up the good work.
