My mother for some odd reason, would get mad at me in middle school because I only liked nonfiction books ( history books, zoology books and encyclopedias). When I asked her about it, she gave me the idiotic response that she thought I should diversify my taste to that I say, "WHY DO YOU ONLY READ ROMANTIC BOOKS INSTEAD OF HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS, I THINK YOU SHOULD BROADEN YOUR TASTES"!!
