I believe it, mostly because not since the 90s have we figured out how to make sex education not pornographic. Masturbation used to be part of a lot of curriculums, even though kids don't need to be taught about masturbation the same way they need to be taught about, say, math.

Sex education should be purely about the science of sex, not a lesson plan on how to be good at satisfying people. But people still haven't gotten that.
