Furthermore, in our ancestral environment, there was no birth control or social safety net. As a result, women knew that if they opened their legs for chad, they'd get pregnant, and if chad hadn't committed to them, they would likely die. For that reason, women in the past would *not* give up sex unless a man fell in love with them ("love" is what natural selection devised to implement commitment, before societies invented marriage).
Going a step further, 100% of men would be competent in all the tasks required by men of the tribe. So in the past, regardless of your looks, you would be a good hunter and so on. Women would be competent too ...and 100% of them would be at a healthy weight.
In that environment, even if you were, as you perhaps are today, the ugliest male around - in your ancestral environment, those 15 women would chase the #1 male (that's hypergamy, which is a feature of our species, not a bug) but they'd all deny chad sex, and inevitably chad would legitimately fall in love with one of them (something that doesn't happen today because they all give him sex). With chad paired off, there'd be 9 men and 14 women, and the cycle would repeat.
You might be the ugliest, but eventually there'd be 1 male (you) and 6 women ...and you'd legitimately be the best male available in the tribe - crazy as that concept sounds to modern ears. In the end, in your ancestral environment, you'd pair off with a mate.
Addendum: then some of the women would die in childbirth and those 5 "spare" women would find mates. It's all very zen.
Bottom line: there's nothing actually wrong with you. You're actually normal and fine. Also, despite when red pillers say about "hypergamy" there's nothing wrong with that either. What has fucked up our society is mostly birth control, but also partly welfare for single moms. These two things enable promiscuity and create a situation where chad never commits, and all women are alpha-widows.
And this is all just exacerbated by social media and dating apps, which give women the false impression that there are endless chads, and make them believe they'll get one eventually.
Anyway, you're closer to normal than any redditor. It's not your fault that you were born in this fucked-up modern age. That said, count your blessings because there's a good chance you would have died up there in step 1 (when wars killed off men).
