Legal background
The IT pedo was arrested in May 2019 after an FBI sting operation revealed that he tried to arrange sex with a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. In addition, he bragged about having sex with an 11-year-old girl while conversing with the undercover FBI agent.

He was charged under 18 U.S.C. § 2422 (b), attempted enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity, a crime punishable by a minimum of ten years and a maximum of life in prison. The first trial ended up with a jury that was deadlocked 7-5 in favour of conviction.

The IT pedo was convicted in a second trial in March.

After the guilty verdict, he made a last-ditch bid to overturn his conviction under a Rule 29 motion for acquittal. The government filed a memorandum in opposition, and last month, the judge ruled against the IT pedo and allowed the conviction to stand.

What's the latest?
Last Friday, on October 23rd, the IT pedo and his public defender filed a sentencing memorandum arguing for the minimum sentence of ten years in prison.

Based on the guidelines set out by the U.S. Sentencing Commission, however, he is facing more than twenty years after sentence enhancements are applied. This is mainly because the ages of the purported children involved are less than twelve.

In addition to the memorandum, the IT pedo also attached four exhibits. Exhibit A is a redacted psychological evaluation, and Exhibits B to D are character references from his parents and his sisters.

Here's what the documents reveal about the IT pedo's personal life:

According to the federal Bureau of Prisons, the IT pedo is now being held at MCC New York, the same administrative detention center where Jeffrey Epstein was held. Dr. Pizza is inmate number 76309-054.
