I get what you mean. 90% of self proclaimed Christians aren’t even real Christian’s (depending on how you define what a “real” Christian is) they say they believe in Christ but they don’t know the scripture, they misinterpret or misrepresent almost everything they think they know about the religion and they hardly even live life the way Christ tells you to live it. What about them is even Christian at this point? They are posers. Most Christians are just larpers.

It’s very hard to find people who actually have read the scripture, understand the text and what it means or what it’s saying, and is living their life the way Christ calls on you to do.

The same can be said for any (established) religion... there are idiots and there are scholars. There are factions within Christianity that believe in nonsensical drivel (e.g. speaking in tongues in 20XX... why Pentecostals believe this is still a valid way of "connecting" with God is beyond me), but established denominations (such as Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity) have a rich theological history full of doctrines that are also tied into philosophy/ontology. Look at the catechism of the Catholic church for example (or Kabbalah in Judaism). I don't think it's fair to make hasty generalizations based on anecdotal experiences, but I also understand why you feel this way (some Christians blindly follow what they are told to believe without trying to understand why they believe it in the first place)
