Even here you can see how wolves of the north are bigger while those near the equator are skinnier and smaller. Same with human races.
Wolves only needed ~10,000 years (or sometimes less) to "diverge" into different subspecies.
Disregarding that there was very little intermixing of far-away populations, the Americas were seperated from the Old world for at least 11,000 years JFL. And no scientists are willing to admit that there are modern human subspecies. They would be assassinated if they told the world this truth.
