I have abandoned all hope and got myself a gaming PC. It has an old 7th gen intel i5 CPU, just 8gb ram and an GTX 1070 GPU.

I have not been gaming for a couple of years. What am I supposed to do? What games? What stuff?

Well if you've only played those games on console, playing them on PC can be a whole nother experience. Even the old ones. There's hundreds if not thousands of mods that improve immersion, and add tons of new worlds, quests, and locations. Modding might seem a bit hard to get into at first, but it's the reason I got a gaming PC in the first place.

Then download and setup Cemu which is a free Wii U emulator so you can play Breathe of the wild

PC games are fun but you lose interest after a while. The void of Inceldom is too strong to think you can replace love and sex with something as trivial as a video game.
With that said you should join NEXUS and learn how to install mods. You should also get Steam.
Monster Hunter World comes out for PC 8/9 so about 2 weeks away. Should be great playing that on PC so maybe you'll have something to look forward to.

PC is more about multi player and indies. these big publisher releases are fun. it's just it's not the gaming most people are willing to do most of the time.

Gaming pcs are a big cope, if you dont have friends to play normie games with then it is a waste of time and you get bored real quick. My friends from highschool spend hours every day playing fucking league overwatch and r6s and i hate those games. I bought dishonored 2 and hitman since i like the stealth and thinking aspect but even then i dont have much urge to play them

Consoles are superior to gaming pcs. Even the most super advance gaming dektop has a 0,000000001% of crashing when runnign a game simply because a comuter is running like hudereds of programms along with the game.

If you're new to pc gaming definitely play through all Half-Life games, you won't regret it. It's arguably the best FPS series ever.

Another great series that's exclusive to PC folks is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Despite their potato graphics they're the most immersive games I've ever played. Graphics design > graphical fidelity. Borderlands is another great example of this. Speaking of which definitely try Borderlands.

Few other good suggestions: Metro 2033, Mafia II, Skyrim and Fallout 3/New Vegas if you haven't already played those, Witcher 3, Beam.NG Drive drive is a cool car smashing sim if you're into that kind of a thing.
