For me, it would be sipping mango margaritas under the full moon at the beach shore with my waifu.

The wind slightly blows in our faces and there is nobody else around.

I don't even know what I would want. Somewhere with the love of my life I guess

It's a realm that you create in your mind and can go there when your consciousness is about to fade and your perception of time comes grinding to a halt, making it (perception of time) seem infinite. Whatever state you died in with your idea of heaven in mind is how you will "experience" it. For you, in that ever-narrowing iota of changes (that we all feel as time), your brain is about to enter its final state. All of that DMT which gets ejaculated by your brain and that idea of heaven (or hell) becomes your conscious state for "eternity," like an imprint on your brain. This is where some religions emphasize the right states of mind in life and in death. Your heaven or hell is literally in your head, as your own imaginary construct - like your own personal virtual reality, but "forever" from your perspective.

You want to go heaven? Just imagine it and really delude yourself with the belief of it. Hold on to that belief for the rest of your life, even during the moments of your death. And viola - you're fucking prime cunny and living out whatever other fantasies you have, for as long as the universe is around.

Super interesting. It does sound plausible given the time dilation that the brain experiences during stressful and traumatic moments. Coupled with the firing of the hippocampus and the subsequent aforementioned DMT release that accompanies it. Where people go through the notorious "life review" slideshow wherein they experience every memory all over again within seconds. Where they undergo that DMT release and the consequential hallucinations where people, again, have purported to experience entire lifetimes. All of this compounding onto each other makes a rather compelling argument for this case of a self generated afterlife. Especially considering how personal and self-referential these DMT hallucinations tend to be.

This would explain how varied all of the near death experiences are. Where your conceptions of the world acts like primer to facilitate the hallucinations. If you believe in God, you'll see Jesus and your loved ones in heaven. If you're a conspiracy theorist, you might see aliens. If you're an atheist you might not see much if anything.

You know, I have never thought of death like this. It's always been this binary for me: lights on, lights off. I never took the time to really imagine just how much your perception of time will be distorted as your consciousness ebbs. How every moment of time could indefinitely be subdivided as an infinite passage like that one thought experiment in ancient greek philosophy by Xeno, with the Tortoise and Achilles.

All of this shit really does start to make you think.
Thinking wojak

The most terrifying thing in this world is not monsters, demons, death, or evil. It's the truth, whatever that is.

Be on a tropical island like yours

Or be in a fjord in a big ass cabin

As I sit on my chair and I look at the water and mountains and the clouds as the cool breeze hits my face

Probably the most interesting post I've seen on this forum

I've read stuff like that before and even seen it referenced in media, but it still is jarring to think that something so consistent with human existence like death has always been a complete mystery and the most common way to go at it is just go "well, don't think too much about it, it'll sort itself out when it happens"
I once tried killing myself and the lead up to my attempt felt nothing short of blissful. It's extremely hard to explain, but I felt content, peaceful, and satisfied with everything. I think the reason I pussied out is because there must me some sort of unconscious safety valve that tries to overwhelm your conscious mind and prevent self-destruction. Been a while since I read Jung, but I'm pretty sure he talks about stuff like this. It might be tangentially related.

Me sitting on a white couch behind me r five beautiful bbw tall ebony or polynesian or asian stacys.

Now how did I know somebody was going to make that reference? I like that song as well as the Talking Heads in general.

I would describe it as having a stable mind and never having to take heavy doses of SSRIs again to keep the nasty compulsions at bay.

That is all I ask.
Again?

My condolences bro

All I can say, with a fair degree of certainty, is that this is an original conclusion I've reached from years of study and exposure about various topics. I haven't seen it in any of Jung's works. As far as I can tell, this is the one time that I can be fairly sure that the idea is original, unlike the many other times where I believed my thought to be original, only to found out that somebody thought of it and wrote in a book hundreds or thousands of years ago.

You feel at peace when you simply let go and accept your fate. The reasons are both physiological and psychological. There's a mental shift and your body responds differently. You don't feel adrenaline or any other kind of stress. You don't feel worry and think about any future, because there is no more future. This is it.
