yup. owning a home is a real pain the ass, let me tell you. you'll have constant expenses for things like taxes, obscure repairs, hoa fees. you will have to do maintenace work like lawn care and cleaning. and eventually, you'll get bored of it and long for the freedom you had when you were homeless. just trust me bro, you are better off without it.

Exactly! That's what I've been saying for years. Hobos just gotta pull themselves up by their bootstraps, stop being defeatists blaming their homelessness on circumstances, develop a positive attitude and start being wagies. Then they'll get a house in no time. Plenty of houses out there after all. It's just that easy homeless folks reading.

I voluntarily went homeless for a week. I was surprised how I could sleep comfortably even on concrete if it weren't for the crippling paranoia of someone bricking me over the head while sleeping.

Yup. It sucks having to mow the lawn and having to dust furniture and appliances. Also don't forget about having to pay the HOA, your mortgage AND your utility bills every month.

Don't know why homeless people make such a BIG deal about wanting a house. It's not how Hollywood portrays it.
