I was under the impression that when it comes to "big time" users when they get perm banned it's something the mod team all agrees upon unanimously based on a democratic decision.
Does @Crustaciouse not qualiy as "big time" or did the moderation all agree he should be permed?
It's none of my business of course, it's between him and the moderation team.

How can a member take 27 warns and not be permanently banned???

This is exactly why I said that that was all anyone needed to know about the matter, as explaining every single warning would take too long. It was just a continued pattern of getting warnings for the same shit over and over, but spaced out so much that giving a severe warning for any one offense was seen as being too heavy-handed (at least for me, don't want to speak for other mods but I think they had similar reasons). We've discussed his behavior before, as we did with VST and other members who had similar warning patterns. This last warning for female worship, which was at least the 4th in total, was the final straw.
As for not seeing someone breaking the rules, that is the entire point of having them. We delete content that breaks the rules, so most people are not aware of how much someone else breaks the rules unless they complain about their warnings or share their opinions on the matter in private communities or something.

I've done that a couple of times when I needed to step back from the site for a bit, and I have a site blocker active on Cuckkit so I don't wander back to that festering shit hole.

That's because some users do not have a custom status under their username and choose to use their default post rank instead.
When they are banned their status then automatically changes to banned or temp banned.
Users with custom statuses do not have theirs change in this manner.
You can still find out if a user is perm banned even without that though by seeing if they still come up in the member's list. Perm banned users are taken off the list @RREEEEEEEEE

For months @incelman (the gambler, with that nickname he better have seen Kakegurui by now) had the most posts despite being banned for a very long time.
Yes, in the past, banned users stayed listed in the members list, but that was with the previous forum software. With the upgrade, this was no longer the case. I know that a permanent ban removes you from the members list because my account was permanently banned, and I could not find it in the members list. And, you are correct: if you have a custom user title, it will not be replaced by "Temp. Banned."
