Even if they get into STEM it's mostly some bullshit role like coordinator or manager that has no value to the end result. Or they work in HR or recruitment for a tech company and proudly claim they are working in tech.

I'm glad the era of endless money in tech companies seems to be coming to an end and that many people are getting laid off. It's not a mystery that mostly women are the "victim" of these recent layoffs because they added the least value to the tech companies. Competent and qualified people in tech will always have a job.
