Individualism is way stronger now than decades ago, there's little to no class consciousness anymore, so the chances of having workers massively demonstrating their discontent and maybe leading to some changes are rather low sadly. Most people would rather do one step ahead on their own rather than sticking as a group to make ten steps ahead together. And richfags know all of this very well.
Yeah there are more NEETs, and people overall are having less kids, but at the same time, more and more jobs will be replaced by AI over time, and with ethnics keeping making lots of children and immigrating in first-world countries, people making less kids isn't much of an issue overall
And NEETs overall still are a minority, right now a majority of people are working and want to keep working with no project of dropping out of the rat race. Maybe it might change in the future, let's hope so.
