I may be wrong, but don't most Poles consider themselves to be non eastern though? I don't know if they consider themselves western but I do know they're not a fan of Belarus, Russia and to an extent, Ukraine
NS gets the right wing rep because of it being nationalist, people ignore the socialist part though and often put it on the far right side of things, when in reality national socialism on a political compass is for the most part a centrist and authoritarian ideology
