that’s because the government doesn’t give a fuck about it. It’s a shit show in my country too and the doctors in my country are advocating for change but the minister of health is ignoring them. They’re asking for higher pay, more personnel, better equipment etc There’s not many doctors working in public healthcare because they ain’t getting paid enough and they’re overworked. It’s not that public healthcare sucks, it’s that the government’s suck and they would rather waste tax payer money on stupid shit rather than fix the country.
And even if it’s shit, it’s better than nothing. Anyone who has the money has the freedom to go to a private hospital, public hospitals existing doesn’t prevent you from doing that. Free hospitals exist so people without money can actually survive.

History and literature are the only lessons where your teacher can insert their personal opinion and that depends on what teacher you have. If you have a right leaning teacher, they’re gonna give right leaning opinions. It’s just that the more educated you’re, the more left leaning you become, so it’s rare to see a right leaning literature teacher. But to say education is “tainted” and that therefore you should ignore it is very anti intellectual.

Minimum wage should be raised to match cost of living and then they would have no incentive to hire immigrants. But we have people saying “b-b-but how will my small business survive!?”. Funny enough i talked to my cousins father in law who has a shop and he agrees that if you can’t pay your employees a living wage, then you can’t be in business, and i agree. We have too many people trying to be businessman’s right now. I see a shop opening up left and right in my area. Problem is, society can’t function if everyone opens up their own business. So most of them will close anyway since there won’t be enough demand for all of them to operate.

i believe that problem could be solved by mandating a law that says that out of the 5 people hired, 2 must have no experience. They should place a law like that anyways with how bad the market is at the moment.

A lot of these problems can be solved by regulating corporations. Truth of the matter is, if you don’t regulate corporations and let them run free, they will abuse the fuck out of the system using any loop hole they can find. The goal of any businessman at the end of the day is to make as much money as possible, and they will do that no matter what.
