In the past i could say buy steam keys on keyshops but even them cost at bare minimum $50 for each game so barely a difference between normal copy and some 3rd world stolen keys.

Sandbox games have endless replay value, I've also started playing through the Tomb Raider Remastered collection and it's dope. You probably won't like it if you have never played it before, it's more of a nostalgia trip but if you have played it then the remastered collection is worth the money.
Factorio is also another good game. It's a sandbox one but it's very complex and is fun if you are willing to put the hours in.

I feel like they always were boring to me. I found those repetitive actions stupid. But for some reason, I forced myself to play them, since I thought it's not normal to not like them while my peers enjoyed them (yes, I tried to fit in, so to speak). And now I almost don't enjoy them again.

They don't even play the old games so they can't understand how they've been downgraded. They accuse us of being nostalgia blinded when they very obviously have a bad case of recency bias.
I started playing Monster Hunter this year and I can say after playing both older and newer titles that World and subsequently rise are massive downgrades that actively remove all challenge and immersion from the series.
However normies will celebrate these downgrades because they can't comprehend video games being anything more than mindless button mashing.
I predict that Resident Evil 1 will be remade and remove resource management and normies will claim it's a good change because it removes tedium.
