who has very thick glasses and wants to have an operation?

I've been thinking about having my eyes operated on for a long time because I'm already at -8 dioptres and I can hardly see anything without glasses.
Does anyone have experience with this type of surgery?

I have glasses and personally I hate it every bit as much. I would consider getting it honestly but there's no way I'll be able to get it done since my terrible vision is caused by the shape of my vitreous body.
