The thing is though, with any sort of statistics with surveys like this, you have to assume that a lot of people are lying, both exaggerating how often they have sex or if they had sex at all; not wanting to admit they are virgins, and women not wanting to be called "sluts" so they also lie about their number of sexual encounters.

I do not talk about being a virgin at 41 IRL, as it I do not want people at work and elsewhere jumping to conclusions as at this age, people will automatically assume that there is something seriously wrong with you, I.e. a potential serial killer or Jesus freak.
