What effects might happen if a large portion of the underclass male population disrupted the credit system by avoiding it all together being debt free and not feeding the financial machine or what if they went credit card deliquencymaxxing?

Would the powers that be falter or would they come with unrelenting vengeance through some dystopian means?

If a lot of people stopped going in debt, the economy would slow down and bank worker salaries would drop a bit.

If a lot of people went into debt and didn't return it, there would be an economic crisis.
