The kind of communism that's usually advocated for in the west isn't really representative of the communist regimes that have existed around the world. This guy isn't actually a communist. Only a specific type of leftist uses this phrase and I know for fact that venne fits this to a T. Spoiled millennials (and zoomers) with upper middle class parents that have a decent high paying job that are ONLY leftists when it comes to SJW bullshit. They do this because they feel threatened by wealth redistribution because it would mean their taxes would go up, possibly significantly.

So they'll call themselves communists and say they support a fantasy version of communism that could never possibly exist (and being aware of that fact) but deep down their ideal world would be cold hard capitalism combined with hyper authoritarian wokeness where people are lined up against the wall for wrongthink or telling a politically incorrect joke.
