I'm not anti remake, as long as it's accurate and faithful to the original source material.
I also think plenty of old anime often better than new anime.
Most of new anime e is just isekai, harem, high school slop.

But yeah, I think it would be pretty cool if we got a remake of area 88, it's this old manga where this jap airline pilot is forced to fight as a fighter pilot in the war in the middle east.

A series about planes and dog fights is still an original concept tbh, and the series goes over shit like the horrors and camaraderie of war.

Area 88 has got some adaptions over the years, like an 1985 ova, an SNES game (would was renamed as UN squadron outside Japan) and a 2004 series.
Would be cool and interesting if they made a new series about it.

I also wished they made an actual Akira anime which is more faithful to the story.
I read some of the Akira manga in the library in Somerset IRL last year, it has boatloads of potential for a remade series

Azumanga Daioh.

none, remakes tend to lose the charm of the original even if they're faithful to the source material, like Kino no Tabi and Spice and Wolf

Yeah, especially seeing as anime art looks so basic now and anime is beginning to go woke

Naruto with no filler or flashbacks, people don't realize how fast the story is in the manga. Same VAs and OSTs would be great if I'm allowed to make unrealistic demands. Make it seasonal instead of weekly.

I read on animefillerlist.com that 50% of both the original series and Shippuden is filler.
It's definitely a series where if someone you know is going to get into it, you have to give them a list of which episodes to skip

And it'd still be a tough watch. They mix in filler with canon and the pacing is awful.

Please Berserk. Every cuck studio is scared to animate it only because of how brutal it is and the rape scenes which will offend the faggot woke anime community

Inazuma eleven off the top of my head

Prince Planet would be brilliant in color, with today's level of animation, but be a tad more serious than the original was.

It's 50/50 between those two for me. On one hand, we are at the point where people are so desperate for a decent adaptation of Berserk that goes past the first arcs that there were actual scams promising it, while on the other hand, Umineko's anime adaptation was such a catastrophe that it should get another one to forget the first one existed in the first place almost out of principle.

Remaking old asf games makes sense to me but anime don't

Berserk is literally the best story written . Also extremely relatable to so many men, the idea of constant unseen suffering . Battling life with no one noticing . Alone and misunderstood by the world. Labelled as a villain when people don’t know the truth

None of them. I'd rather have anime adaptations of manga that never received one instead. Like the manga sequel to rose of Versailles

Fist of the north star

maybe not this anime specifically but I wish there was just more semi realistic war animes tbh. Parts of Platlabor 2 are another good example but I don't think that needs to get remade

Sounds interesting, i would watch something like that
The series is about fighter jets and aerial warfare, that's still an original concept

I would take upscales of really old animes, I truly cannot watch 4:3 shows even though I know some are legendary

griffith is a representation of faggotry

Atleast i hope the fight scenes will be animated well. That's the main reason it sucked for me, cuz I played the VN. Artstyle was trash too.

The original dragon ball.

Forget to mention, it would be cool to see 11 eyes and trigun get remade

Digimon adventure

The Promised Neverland s2

Bleach, Soul Eater, technically Berserk

read the muv luv triology chud

If you wanted "MUH SOULL" you would just go read the original manga/source material. Anime is for pretty colors and animation

i did read the original Spice and Wolf light novels, but i haven't checked out Kino no Tabi yet

umineko or post-golden age berserk

Rosario + Vampire. They completely fucked the second season. It's not even remotely close to the manga after season 1.

The first 2 or 3 seasons of Initial D have potential for improvement. The computer generated graphics might have been impressive back then, but aged like crap. Imagine it with modern graphics and sound effects :feelsohh:
