What I mean by gore, dark anime

When I think of gore dark anime I watched? I think of a few good examples, but I will have to be specific about it. It's anime that's have to be realistic aspects of dark, that don't give much meaning to death and treats life as expendable. This gives a very creepy feling, thrilling and just scary. Maybe it is just the realism.

What I would:
Attack on Titan: I would consider this good example of gory anime
Blood-C: Opinions on this anime are divided, but I don't care. I think it's a good anime.
Elfen Lied: Opinions also divided on this one, but it's dark and realistic
Claymore: It's pretty good
Berserk: I like the setting. Guts? Not much, but it's good to see a dark world

Less so:
Another: I don't think so
Akame ga Kill: A very good anime that I really like, but it feels a bit comical
