Yesterday I was at the doctor's office, and they asked if I was sexually active. Suddenly I thought of all the anti-incel sentiments I read online, and it made me hesitate before saying "no."

Later I was thinking maybe I should start wearing a wedding ring when I go out - just so I seem more trustworthy.

Has anyone else thought like this, or am I just being paranoid?

Ha, well I guess I'm just being silly then. Or maybe it's because I'm middle-aged; that makes it more unusual for me not to be married. Add being unmarried to looking (and acting) like a weirdo, and people may get the idea that I'm unhinged.

It's a stupid thing to worry about. I just wondered if anyone else had felt the same way.

I remember when my brother kicked me in the nuts and I went to the hospital, when the doctors were checking my balls out for any damage they asked if I was sexually active or not. I replied "no" and they looked at me like I was talking shit, then I lied and said I had sex a year ago just so they would stop looking at me like a creep.
