The movie released back in 2007 so incel as a word itself didn't exist, but the whole point of the character was exactly what it was supposed to represent and I think Raimi was based for this. Also most of the normies hated this version while I love it and it makes sense.
Being a kid back then, I already felt more emphaty for him that Peter, I suppose it was written in the stars for me.
But here's the interesting plot points that prove it.
>He is introduced as a bluepilled wagie that wants to work for Daily Bugle by photographing the Chad MC.
>He has a oneitis, literally named Gwen STACY, that doesn't give a shit about him, but he is too delusional to lie to her father that he is her boyfriend.
>Right after this, he gets a scene in the office where he immediately gets rejected by the foid secretary, he was trying to be funny here and flirt abit but she makes faces and even says that his perfume smells bad.
>Next we move to his scene with Gwen, he shoots some pictures of her and then asks for a second date because the last one was precious for him, Gwen says that they were simply "drinking coffee", wich implies that it really means nothing to her. Wich makes Eddie upset, and here you could see his mood changing and the first signs of the blackpill showing up.
>His boss ordered him to take a picture of Spider-Man busted in a crime scene, so when he does it, Spider-Man breaks his camera because his the Chad MC and ruins Eddies moment, wich leads to Eddie faking the picture.

>This results with Eddie creating a fake pic of the scene and get a job in the office, but Peter was wearing the symbiote suit and because he was an evil bastard he decided to beat and humiliate Eddie infront of everyone and later expose his fake pic, because he knows that Eddie is a beta incel like he was before he was Spider-Man, so it would be easy to destroy his life.

>Later in the movie a brutal moment happens where he sees both Peter and Gwen together, this is the moment that blackpills him completely.

>In rage he decides to religionmaxx because it was the only thing he could cope with because he was too bluepilled and believe in Karma.

>This leads into the climax of the movie, where the truecel gets the symbiote, and it's kinda ironic that it's black, somehow mirroring the blackpill that is consuming him and the power of it ERfuels him completely and he becomes Venom.

>And the rest is history, he gets his cool moments where he beats the fuck out of Chad, simple capeshit formula, but he had some pretty based quotes that define inceldom. "I like being bad, it makes me happy" implies that him going ER makes him better, feel free from the pain. Then he says "Never wound, what you can't kill", which I believe, refers to the bullying in general, that a comeback from the victim is something to be concerned for the bullies.
