As more and more time passes, I see myself and my dad being practically the same person.
He came from a very abusive family too. He is a giga autist and can barely speak to people. because of his extreme autism, he has till date switched over 15 jobs. He could never hold a job and provide stability to our family.
Unfortunately for him, he passed down his genes and trauma to me. I became ugly and because of his abuse, I became the very person he probably wanted to avoid.
Both of us are also good in only one aspect, a fair amount of intelligence. Probably due to the autism. But alas, it couldn't live up to the potential.
I sometimes resent him but also empathize with where he came from. Laughing at this absurdity.
