For example, i've seen a lot memes about "omg childhood trauma i was so scared of this" but as i can remember - i was instead curious about these "uncanny things". Courage the Cowardly Dog was a perfect example. I was 4-5 when this was aired, and no episode scared me off.
Same with other shit, nothing was too uncanny for me back then, because almost everything felt (and feels until today) unreal.
