How are "getting a job" gonna make me non incel when I earned like 48k/year before when the market was slightly better before layoff and shit didn't even worked?

Now the positions and wages have dropped, back to about 2300$ which is in the 20k something range per year.

The job security is also nonexistent. One snap of a finger and you're out.

Funny thing is the other skilled trades, barely earn better. They earn slightly worse, at 2000$ something.

Real estate accounts for almost 30% of their economy, it's over-reliant enough that their economy is stagnating at the moment because construction companies thought they could keep building and nothing would ever happen, Evergrande lost a ton of money due to it. The Chinese housing market is more fucked than the Anglo one, which also explains why many Chinese investors went to Canada/US/Australia and inflated their markets, because greedy boomers loved the appreciation of their assets. Only Japan has got their housing market under control.

True. There's no studies done on facial attractiveness and income (as far as I'm aware) but height makes a big diff to income as is statistically proven. In the USA it's hard to make money as a short man:

there's literally no other office job I could do in all seriousness without thinking of killing myself. Coding by no means is the be all and end all kind of occupation in my life, but it's at least somewhat bearable. And the way the job maket is right now is pure suicide fuel.

Job market in US/world is dogshit. I'm really good at interviewing. Can ace pretty much any hackerrank, codility, or psychometric test. Can do leetcode mediums in 15 mins under pressure, etc. Still... fucking impossible to find something even at 100/hr that's fully remote. Back end of 2021 had several jobs at same time with lowest being 140/hr, all remote and could multi-job (do multiple jobs at once, just make sure to meet the minimums) to double up pay. Now, just one job where I'd be prepared to work hard for just 100/hr seems near impossible to find.
