Suggestions for apolitical video games

Stuff that isn't woke or anything like that.

Some I've liked over the past say 5 years that I can think of are Toree, Spark 3, Roblox (mainly Jailbreak and Flood Escape 2), Orbital Bullet... Downwell and Heavy Bullets are fun too.

I feel like it's slim pickings and also as it can be tricky to tell when a game will bury current day stuff in there... it makes me hesitant to look into games these days.

I do think E-rated games tend to be way less political, so that opens up a lot of stuff.

Even Counter-Strike... I mean it's not political but... it's so garish now and the charms on the guns are very distracting I think.

So yah. Strange gaming landscape these days!

I would say that Minecraft was such a game before Microsoft took over. Now you have these stupid woke liberal messages in the main menu.

The original harvest moon is a very based game, if you ask me.

You take over the farm of your grandfather, farm, make money, flirt with local foids from the village and pick your wife foid.

You marry her, have children with her, make your farm house bigger, learn to cook for yourself, keep animals.

There is also Innocent Life A Harvest Moon.

It is a game for the PSP.
I've owned it and finished the whole game.

That one is wholesome and has no woke garbage.

There you are a robot boy and have a human "father" / creator.

But the emphasis is on story telling, not farming or anything.

You can farm etc. but it is very simple.

Still, a beautiful game with a sad ending that will pull at your heart strings.

Bro, I remember wanting to buy European Truck Simulator which should have eventually gotten a DLC for Russia or at least up until the Ural mountain as that is the geographical border of Europe and they halted the release of that DLC because muh poor Ukraine and muh evil Putin and Russia.

Anyway, here are some more.

DLC Quest. It is a very inexpensive games, but you may like the humor.
It is a parody of all the DLC garbage which should have been in the base game from the start anyway.
I've had plenty of good laughs playing it. Finished it.

Kane&Lynch 1 & 2. Not everyone likes this. I did.
But one of the guys ends up SEAmaxxing in the game. jfl
Suicidefuel for ricecels.

If you like ZPS and Contagion you may also like No more room in hell.

Dead Pixels is a fun game. VERY addictive. I am afraid that once I start playing it again I won't be able to stop for a few days. lol
Still waiting for the sequel.

You cannot go wrong with Postal 1 & 2. I don't know about 3 & 4. Heard that 3 is a clusterfuck and 4 is meh.
Still have to try them.

Defy Gravity, much like Air Escape or whatever, is a puzzle game of sorts. I like it.

The Neotokyo mod (using the Source engine) is not dead but basically the small community, a handful of people, play every friday.

It is a fun game if you like tactical shooters with a class system.
It looks rather simple and is easy to learn, but definitely a bit on the hard side to master.
The sweats in the community will absolutely wipe the floor with you.
They do with me and I have been playing it on and off since it's release.

I don't take it too seriousely, but the community is mostly nice and I like the artstyle of the game / mod and setting.
It is based on Ghost in the shell and Akira. Two classics.
In fact, once I build my computer, probably today still, I will be playing a bit of Neotokyo, for old time's sake.

Chaser is not woke, but it has fictional politics and such, I think.
I've only enjoyed it as a shooter. But on the hardest difficulty it is a very unforgiving game, tbh. Be patient is all I will say but also react fast, and I mean fast.

I have no idea what Unturned is like nowadays, but back when I've played it, it was a lot of fun. Despite its looks though it requires quite a potent system.

I hope you may take away one or the other game for yourself from my recommendations.

You could say that the OG non-enhanced STALKER series is also not woke and sort of apolitical since it is fictional anyway, but the enhanced editions have been historically altered, to remove soviet symbols, for example and the new STALKER 2 has had several scandals because of woke stuff, afaik and also mixing real life politics into the game because the devs are Ukranians and Russia is obviousely bad, you see.

But the OG trilogy can be modded and a lot of fun can be had with those alone.

I have literally been playing just one specific mod for a whole year because of how much fun it was.
