I always try to be attentive of people's feelings and i think that makes me suffer even more, I tested my theory time and time again being overly nice is weakness and people actually respect mean and unapologetic men far more. Foolish of me expecting fair treatment and reciprocation. How can i not gaf and be opportunistic selfish person?

If you were attractive they'd see you as a great guy. Since you're ugly they see you as weak and desperate for validation. Don't think you can just be confident and "stoic". They'll reject you for that too.
