If you looked at some dog breeds these days, many are deformed and some even struggle to breathe, like pugs. A German shepherd can literally deform itself because the sloped back can cause spine paralysis.

This is caused by female dogs accepting deformed mates. The thing is, rape/forceful breeding isn't very common, the females chosen the male on her own will.

Another example that sexual selection leads to dysgenic traits.

Would "deformed" for humans, apart from being disabled to a degree, include being short/unattractive? Even though it might not necessarily make our health worse, it just signals that it is.
