Serious Severely depressed, does anyone know natural supplements to help?

unrefined grains

don't you get erectile dysfunction?
It did for a short time ( 5 days ), then i regained vitality again.
Its what happens when you have high testosterone.
It can´t hold my urge forever.

Vitamin D
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3 pharmacologically similar to benzodiazepines, exhibiting similar muscle-relaxing and hypnotic effects.)
DHEA (not natural but it is a supplement)

B vitamins help with energy. Eat greens. B1 is especially important for mitochondria!

I find myself becoming more and more depressed. The depression will become worse in the winter; I know that from experience.

Has anyone here found any supplements that help? I am currently taking turmeric, fish oil, vitamin C, a multivitamin, and several types of fibers...with limited effect.

does anyone know of anything else? I don't want to take pharma meds, although I am open to that.

Thank you

Get full spectrum and uv lighting for winter. SAD is a real thing and amplifies depression.

I also declutter and feng shui my office and house when I feel depressed. I live ultra sparse and minimalistic and it’s great

Also tbh drink a lot of water and use a standing desk. It keeps me in an attack position sitting feels like giving up

Thank you. Do you have any light brand in particular that you suggest? I drink lots of water as well.

Thank you. I take a multivitamin nowadays and it helps. I have seen an improvement, maybe I had a lack of something.

I take ensure, i don't really feel much of a difference but maybe its because I only take it every 2 days

Sometimes i just take melatonin and sleep.

Just go for the anti-depressants. Its what I did. I'd recommend Paroxetine(Paxil) or Amitriptyline.
Paroxetine is good but if you stop taking it the next time you take it it's going to be less effective. You build resistance.

Weed is good too, I wouldn't recommend alcohol tho

Try the carnivore diet. It supposedly cured Jordan B Peterson's depression

Are you only feeling depressed or tired, exhausted and depressed?
Tbh had the latter one, and fixed it by using same supplements as you are using and also by fixing my sleep schedule.

This helped me significantly, maybe just read the ingredients and buy them individually.

Fruits and veggies are extremely important.

Thank you. I may look into that.

Yeah exercise helps. but porn also seems to help. I need porn to cope bro.

Thank you all, I've tried a few things and it has helped a bit, it seems. Dark chocolate has helped me, I believe.

Dark chocolate is also good for testosterone. I also would recommend you to quite porn. Never waste your manly liquid.

@kingturtle

I spent more than 1,000 hours researching depression over the years, including reading studies, reading books by elite psychiatrists-pharmacologists and going to depression forums.

If I remember correctly(its been a few years since I researched it), there is 5 general aspects of depression. And different drugs are better depending on the aspect.

1.) Neuro-Vegetative Depression - this is appetite, sleep & sex drive. Basically if you have trouble staying asleep like nightmares, if you have no appetite and no interest in sex this is an aspect you have.

2.) Anxious Depression - this is like you feel anxious going outside, being around people, something like a loud noise out of nowhere gets your heart racing, which is normal.. but you take a long, long time to calm down. And the extent of how anxious you get is over the top.

3.) Sadness Depression - I believe this is Acetylcholine based. An overactive Acetylcholine system and you have like tears just behind your eyes all the time, and feel depressed.

4.) Ahedonia Depression - this is like no matter what you don't feel any pleasure or happiness. It is basically your dopamine system is not activating to reward you for good things happening to you.

5.) Anergic Depression - this is a lack of Norepinephrine. This is energy, drive, motivation.

Thank you for this. I guess I have 3 and 4. I feel no genuine happiness. But at the same time, nothing good happens to me.

I will look into supplements for #3, regarding Acetylcholine. Thank you

If I take anything supplement like even a multi-vitamin with B-vitamins in it within a week or two I start getting severe sadness depression. I believe the B-vitamins cause increased Acetylcholine production. The Tricyclic anti-depressants just hammer down the choline receptors so it stops this.

For normal people their body regulates Acetylcholine so it doesn't overproduce or underproduce. But some of us have too much of it, and our bodies don't regulate it properly.

@Soulflayer rate this supplement stack I think it’s kinda garbage.

Most multivitamins are artificial crap made of petroleum.

fibre is awful, vitamin C is the only "good" one but not necessary at all as it can be easily obtained from eating real food

Vitamin C in supplements is artificial.
