My fellow incels, as the year 2018 enters its final hours, I thought it'd be nice to provide a recap of this year for our community.
November 7, 2017 - April 22, 2018: When Reddit admins axed /r/incels, they and CuckTears naively thought they had beaten us, however, all they really did was make our lives a hell of a lot easier
. Many users and lurkers of /r/incels, including myself, immediately flocked to @SergeantIncel's newly-created **********, which was quickly taken down by GoDaddy and moved to incels.me. A Russian named Vcelguy made **********, but it didn't take off as well as this site did. Another more radical site called incel.life was also made, which was taken down in February and moved to truecels.org, which eventually got taken down. Many other sites owned by @Leucosticte exist now. As this site entered its first full year, it was undoubtedly the most popular incel website. We managed to stay relatively low-profile, except for a few minor viral incidents, such as this thread by @Classic_Jarvis, where he describes a way for some "harmless psychological fun". The most famous user was Gambler (@incelman) who got the very early.
April 23, 2018 - August 2018: Incels' fifteen minutes of fame (infamy?). Triggered by the pwnage of 10 foids in Toronto by St. Alek Minassian, several articles about our community were published, and we were even talked about on the news and late-night shows. Seeing this, Kalerthon (@jackbud)
saw and took the opportunity to statusmax his way out of our community, but not before doing a live interview where he condemned "misogyny" and said we should "let women into the site", humiliating us on television.
Due to the high risk for a brigade, Sergeant was forced to close registrations until May 1 and tighten up security. This incident indirectly led to the permabanning of @eliotrogerhere, to the creation of a Twitter account for this website, and also to a baby boom of users we now call "Maycels".
August 2018 - present: Media coverage of us has died down since then, but incels are now known to many other outsiders as a result. The .me domain tried to ax our website, only for Sergeant to effortlessly move it, renaming our site incels.is. Law and Order: SVU also created an episode dedicated to incels (which I have not watched nor will ever watch), and a Reddit story about aman's soyboy's incel son, thoroughly debunked by @Master and me, went viral. Our community will have an interesting future.
