Every few months I like to go to the spa near my apartment and get a basic pedicure/manicure. The service is extremely cheap so I have no issue justifying the cost. Some men frequent the spa for a plethora of services, making it a relaxing, welcoming environment. Only women work there, mostly immigrants, but they're soft spoken and kind. Best part is the calf and foot massage done with a gentle touch. I leave clean and well groomed, feeling better about myself and less tense around others.
