I guess he's not really wrong looking at the pure numbers he brought up, but it's hilarious to see this coming multiple times from "European Union's most pro-Russia enfant terrible leader:soy:." Something tells me the Russian media aren't reprinting those quotes of his:feelshaha:.

The EU shouldn't fear Russia because it is economically stronger, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said ahead of the European Political Community (EPC) summit in Copenhagen, Report informs.
"We are stronger than Russia. Let's make some comparisons and draw conclusions based on the facts: the EU has a population of over 400 million, compared to Russia's 130 million. Look at our GDP figures and compare them with Russia. Why are we afraid? We are stronger. The question is whether we have the leadership to stand together and jointly defend our interests," Orban said, interrupting Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's conversation with journalists.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has stated that fears of a possible Russian attack on EU or NATO countries are exaggerated and even "ridiculous," according to DW.
Orbán is convinced that Moscow does not have enough strength to attack the European Union or the North Atlantic Alliance. According to him, the population of the EU is three times larger than Russia’s, and the military capabilities of the 27 EU states far exceed those of the Russian Federation.
“With all due respect, I find it ridiculous to say that Russia will attack the EU or NATO — simply because it is not strong enough. We are much stronger… For more than three years, the Russians have been unable to fully occupy Ukraine. How can we in Europe claim that we are weaker than Russia?” Orbán said.

I guess this is how he copes and justifies to himself being a tryhard contrarian on European political scene even though the war started, at least in part, because Russians were openly complaining about post 1995 NATO expansions and openly calling for all of those countries, including Hungary, to be ejected from the bloc. That is completely unacceptable to everyone in those countries, both the political elites and ordinary people, very much including Orbán, his cronies and the voters who keep putting him in power. There's a reason why absolutely every time the NATO expansions are decried, it is either by Russians, their Western stooges who will agree with whatever Russia says, anti-white ethnics who will agree with whatever hurts white people, and whatever else the Russians can scoop up, with sometimes pitiful results:

Tariq Ali similarly criticized Eastern European elites for embracing what he termed "an imperial gendarmerie" that entangled new members in US-led military interventions unrelated to their core security needs.[94] Johan Galtung lamented the lost opportunity for Eastern Europe to become "a bridge between East and West," arguing NATO membership instead locked the region into confrontational geopolitics.[95] Cynthia Enloe added feminist perspectives, contending NATO reinforced militarized masculinity while suppressing democratic responsiveness to civilian priorities.[96]

But never, never is anyone actually from NATO's newer member countries questioned on the topic, because everyone knows what the answer will always be, whether it's a politician or a random nobody hobo or whatever. Nobody here wants us to be Kremlin's occasionally-invaded slaves again, and Orbán absolutely isn't a bit different, yet, for some psychological reason, he just has to be a contrarian, so I guess this is what he says to himself. "It doesn't matter what they want, we are stronger, they are weak, they can't do anything to us so I can say whatever I want to not go along with everyone else:soy::soy:." It's so weird:feelsUgh::feelswhat:.

brutal no post pill. I will reply. Why do we need feminazi perspectives on the NATO ailance. NATO, an ailliance designed to protect and help Europe respond to threats, is being unfairly deingraited because it promotes muh 'patriarchy'.

Don't worry, it is all a show.

They're strengthening Eastern Europe to rule over the West.

Thankfully, as criticizing NATO became seen more and more as something only right-wing Chud types do, this comical type of a critique seems to have basically died out.

They're strengthening Eastern Europe to rule over the West.

He's right, it could only be a fake war by the jews as a controlled demolition of Europe. Russia can't conquer EU, Eu can't conquer Russia cause of nuke advantage.

It’s white solidarity to die defending Ukraine though
