all I would do in college was sleep, eat, study, workout, and repeat.
managing to somehow get alcohol was a fuckin godsend. i'd sit there alone in my room and drink vodka. i'd listen to loud music on my headphones while taking shots of vodka.
other occasions I manage to get a 12 pack of heineken and cherished it. being under 21 and managing to get that made me so happy
or bottles of red wine...
fast forward til now in my 30s and nothing much has changed except for work.

plus, if he wants to earn more later just ask him what time he is usually around that particular liquor store. and let him know what time you usually come to buy alcohol
theres no shortage of homeless people where I went to college
its crazy how meth, fentanyl, mushrooms, weed, etc... are practically legal but a 20 year old can't get a 6 pack of beer.
