Metal Gear Solid was never good

The gameplay is overly simplistic and lacking in depth. The main stealth can be described as a glorified simon says. The story is intrusive and mediocre. Kojima's writing is retarded and juvenile. The only good thing about Metal Gear is the sex appeal.

I can remember my little brother playing this on the Mega Drive in the 1990s.

He really rated it, it was head and shoulders above any other remotely similar 1p game at that time.

Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy (the one where Cloud, Tifa & Yuffie are trying to defeat Sephiroth, IDK) were the two outstanding games of generation us as far as he was concerned.

PW got me into metal gear after I played the demo like 15 years ago. However , I now see it and MGSV to be extremely grindy, and after downsizing my game collection, I am content with Ghost Babel and MGS3D
