Both MGSV ground zeros & the phantom pain.
I have 150 hours in this game in total and still loving it, I am doing my 3rd play through now. This is the kind of game I could do 10 play throughs and not get bored.
The gameplay is incredibly good. I don’t think there exists a 3rd person action game with better gameplay than this. Everything from the movement to the gunplay is refined and smooth.
I have never seen a game with such good cutscenes, there is not a lot but each cutscene has a style that is very striking. It’s so good that I keep watching the ground zeros cutscenes again and again. If there was more cutscenes I would rather watch this shit than any movie.
Story is great for chapter 1. The main villain is one of the best in the series. The small details in the games story are amazing. I only wish the 2nd chapter had more to it.
This game runs so well, the PS4 was getting 1080p 60fps when most games back then were at 30fps.
Even once you do everything which will take ages ( like 40-60 hours ) you have more stuff do in the FOB missions where you can infiltrate other players bases to steal resources and soilders. There are also FOB missions where you can go against NPC bases.
I wish there is a metal gear solid 6 to continue the big boss story and give us more of this gameplay, but it will never happen. I guess it is fitting the last game is called the phantom pain.
