In just over a week, I will be taking supplies up into the forest, many kilometers away from civilisation and society, to stay there for at least 2 months. I am still contemplating on whether I should take my phone to post updates on .is, but I have thought against it.

I will not be following any trails, going off as far into the bush as I can on the first day from dawn to dusk, then setting down my tent. I have methods of catching food, however I am unsure how consistent I will be, and acquiring water sources. I have done similar activities in the past, yet nothing close to this.

I will be taking:
- tent
- sleeping bag
- machete
- lighters
- metal cup
- possibly a few bottles of water, tins of tuna for the first day or so

I cannot stand normies and the harsh treatment of society any longer. Getting as far away from them as possible and distancing myself will benefit me. Nobody is even going to know I am gone, apart from my parents, my brother, and maybe a few members on this forum.

cool, how about a gun if you're American

You need way more supplies than that to last two months I would bet

Try sticking by a river/stream, take proper water filtering equipment, and how exactly do you plan on getting food?

Trust me you won't be hunting squirrels or birds with a machete JFL, also you need something for a bigger fire than simply a lighter alone can make unless you know something I don't

Based. Soyciety doesn't deserve our availabity. They only bother when they want to use or harm us. Maximizing anonymity and going off-grid are good goals for incels

how will you wipe your ass?

I will do the same I want to buy land build a log cabin a solar pannell and iโ€™ll have other things to substain me like ducks and rainwater I already tried farm-like life and it will be way better than suffering in this shithole society

Bring something so you can call for help, at least.

Don't bring your phone, or at least not for .is, bring it if you feel you might be in a situation where you need to call for help. Will you hunt or what?

Just don't risk your life; surviving in the nature is not easy. Just setting a campfire can be surprisingly hard

Take also a lot of crackers. They dont go bad and theyre good for the stomach. Instant noodles also.

I have done similar in Vanuatu, but it is easier over there with more food availability from the land. It all depends if I can catch the wildlife consistently, there are yabbies I can get with minimal effort, but turkeys and wallabies will deem a challenge. I will boil the stream water.

I just hope the weather stays clear so I can keep the fire stoked. All of the animals have diseases and I don't trust myself eating the meat raw.

Sounds nice. Are you good at starting fires? I don't know if you have much experience but it's much harder than it seems to start and maintain them from scratch. I'd recommend taking a small gas stove or something similar in the event that you can't create a fire at some point.

If the weather stays clear it's easy to start. I will bring 2 lighters. Once overseas I tried to start it with damp leaves. Ended up using the fiber from the inside of a coconut husk to get it going. Personally I would say I am quite experienced, I have been doing so for years.

I wouldnt bet on it, hunting is pretty hard but even if your able to do it, do you know which part of an animal you can eat + where do you get your vitamins and all the other important nutrition for survival. I wouldnt trust to eat some wild berries.

I will boil the stream water.
I would recommend you to get some actual water filter station to not get diarhea within the first few days

Besides this its a great idea to get out of civilisation. You shouldnt take youre phone with you, otherwise you would still be connected with the society afterall

Cool, good luck and have fun innawoodsmaxxing

Stay safe brocel

The majority of my catches will be bush turkeys and yabbies (easy to catch). I have limited knowledge of the edible berries/plants in my area, but I don't need to, my calories will be from meat.

Truth, if it rains and I can't get the fire started I will be in trouble. I will be a water filter next time I am out.

Great stuff brother. I am building a cabin in Vanuatu at the moment, except I connected a pipe from a hidden bore instead of collecting rainwater. I got some locals to help me dig a well until they said there was a bore I can use instead, not even 50 meters from the well. They do my head in man.
Bring something so you can call for help, at least.
If I get in trouble I will make my way back. If it is something that limits my ability to walk I will just accept my fate, if I never post on here again you will know the reason.
Trvthnvke, he needs toilet paper and maybe even wet wipes unless he wants to be gross af
Stream water is fine

If I need help or there is constant rain fall that inhibits me from cooking the animal meat, I might be forced to make my way back. But if I get injured or fall unwell that inhibits my ability to walk I will just accept my fate.
Yeah, take tons of fresh water and canned food or he wont last two days.
Most I have gone before was a bit less than a week. If I were doing this in Vanuatu I could go as long as I want. But in Australia it is so much harder.

Depends how damp the vegetation is. If it does rain, I will just have to eat the yabbies raw or go off my tuna. I have never had an issue with starting a fire before, only once in Vanuatu when it was wet, but I just used the inside of coconut husks to get it going.

Alright

Alright
just dont risk your health

my calories will be from meat.
Your calories are no problem, but other important ingredients that you cant get from meat like vitamins or fiber, you could get scurvy
Truth, if it rains and I can't get the fire started I will be in trouble.
I dont even thaught about this, the problem I see that even if your able to kill all the bacteria and viruses, there will be still dirt left and your stomach is used to clean water

I should research the edible berries and plants, but I doubt I will even be able to find the variants out there. I will try and just hold off for 2 months.

I have boiled it before without getting sick, but your right, I should get a water filter.

Pretty based actually

Make sure to research well and do stleast one test trip to check for food and water availability before commiting to it

I have gone previously for a few days.

Be safe and take care of yourself

@MarquisDeSade thoughts?

learn how to dry meat; it spoils quickly and you can't always hunt.

I wish I could do the same

Apparently the only sufficient water filters are industrial sized; too large to bring along with me. This is the smallest one I could find:

I will just have to boil the water really well and take it from a flowing stream. They're costly as well.

I will be limited to one major meal a day, or even every second day if I am unlucky. I know how to kill and butcher turkeys, I will just stuff myself with the whole turkey, then in between major meal periods I will cook the yabbies.

I agree, incels and members shunned from society should look into off grid methods of living. I might make a post on it later.

I don't recommend it if you lack experience with the backwoods and intend to live tbh.

I feel alot of people have this Edenic glorification of the wilderness when in reality, it's quite an awful place to live.

It is a challenge, but it deters you from any sort of human interaction or society

I'm planning one day to shut myself here:

I think 1 week would be enough. I remembered this orc from Skyrim, who rented an Inn room, just to catch some inspiration from desolace.

Great stuff mate, I'm only going to be in the bush for a month anyways now, I have a flight booked to go to a small island to help my dad build a house, about the same size as your island.
