I would say from 18-35 I was high on copium that something good would eventually happen one day.

Focus on making as much money as possible.

With or without foids if you have money and job options you will have a baseline of comfort. Even better if you own your own business etc.

Plus if youre poor and older foids and people in general won't respect you and will know something is wrong with you.

The fucking worst thing is that when you're a teenager there is no pressure to do anything. It hasn't seeped into your mind yet that everything is a bullshit competition. You think you have time.

Then, you go out into the workplace and your time gets sucked up but you're still expected to compete socially in other ways at the same time but you have lower energy levels.

I put all my chips into career and then realized it was all bullshit if you don't have everything else.

I'm 1 year away from 30 and I'm terrified to know what I will be like at 40. It will NOT look good. Probably like the 40 year old virgin except without the friends that help Steve Carrell

When I was a teen many of my peers felt that pressure, they worked after school, did sports, learned skills and tried to get ahead in life. I remember in particular one girl classmate who felt old already at 18, her parents had married at 20 or something, she worked two jobs, topped all classes, played in a band, etc. Where did this head start lead her? These things don't make much of a difference. At most they got ahead 2-3 years in the workforce in minimum wage jobs, and learned useless skills like languages or instruments (I still regret not doing it myself though).
The only thing that truly matters is networking, the people who got ahead in life are the ones who were social, attractive and NT, and knew many people, had good mentors and good peers. It's not really about working hard in your teens, but living rich and fulfilling years and knowing many people, which requires hard work, sure, but hard work alone is not enough.

Im trying to get into hospitality management.....i probably will need to get a degree......just sucks trying to d i school while your working 48+ hours a week.
