Serious Larping mentalcels?

Anyone had success with Larping here? I mean the real european shit, no boffer battles in cardboardarmors.

I heard it is a good way to lower your inhibition and try yourself out in different ways without consequences.

You could even wear a mask or something, if it fits your character or just play an orc or goblin.

I couldn't bring myself to do it yet. My inhibition is to high and the initial investment scares me.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Don't care what kind. Fantasy, victorian, scifi, postapoc, plot, crime, tavern.

Me too. I'm born one or two years too late. Feels bad to know all the fun I didn't have. Our generation is shit, it's when the Chad and Stacey began to invade the "geek" culture, making it boring and expanding the irl struggle of being an incel to this last sanctuary.

It is not LARP-in per say, but did you taught about outdoor stuff, bush craft and the like, survival skills? Don't see many Chads, and especially Stacey there! It is pretty good entertainment, it can be useful, makes you more resilient and the best part is you can be far far away from fucking people!!

Why not learn historical european martial arts, like fighting with a genuine longsword or messer?

Believe me, for Europeancels, it is a great past time; and almost all middle-to-large sized cities in both Eastern and Western Eurpope have a club of the sort.

Talking from first hand experience, it's a ton of fun and in the end a productive hobby.
