I've noticed that when I notice less stares from normies in public my mental health gets better

Like when there's a period where I notice a ton of stares from normies and in general very bad reactions from people in public, my mental health as a whole takes a fucking nosedive and I have noticeably more baseline anxiety and constant ER rage and a constant need to drink

But during a period where I don't notice any stares or abject extreme reactions from people (likely just due to pure luck and only encountering people who are able to hide their disgust), I feel noticeably more stable and calm and less angry and my need to drink also noticeably lessens, like I still drink of course but the thought of going a night without drinking isn't as unbearable as it is during a period where I notice lots of stares and negative reactions from people

Really makes me wonder just how much my mental issues are a result of having to experience witnessing peoples reactions to my appearance and autistic demeanor

True, whenever I go out in public and I’m not humiliated I don’t feel the need to chain smoke cigarettes and listen to heavy metal
