I can't count the amount of times I've lost my shit and posted my face on Reddit to be told I'm totally average looking, only to go outside and get the most disgusted and adverse stares and reactions from people, it's making me feel like I'm going insane, I will leave my front door genuinely believing that maybe these comments are right and I am perfectly average, then I will get stared at like I have three eyes and two mouths, children and young teens are especially afraid of my appearance, it's maddening and it makes me feel like I can't trust anyone, I just don't understand why people lie to my face, Reddit is mostly anonymous so I don't get what makes it so hard to just tell me the gods honest fucking TRUTH

if I truly was as "perfectly average" looking as people on Reddit say, then I wouldn't be getting these reactions from people, I would be able to walk past a group of teenagers without them all staring at me with this hateful expression like im violating them by just being in their field of vision, I would blend in, I wouldn't have random guys driving past staring at me, people would actually approach me instead of just ignoring me, and being "completely average" means that a significant chunk of the female population would still find me attractive, but no, no girl finds me attractive they either stare at me like I've mugged their grandma or they don't even register me as a sentient being at all

I still don't get the psychology behind it though, it's online and mostly anonymous lest you post your fucking address and life story on there, why do they still insist on saying I'm just average? I understand if it's someone face to face irl because they'd feel bad but this is an anonymous website bruh, granted I have had the odd few redditors say that yes I am unattractive but the overwhelming majority all day I'm "completely average" and nothing more
